Ingredients

  • 50 ml Steel City Vodka®
  • 6 fresh raspberries
  • 15 ml ginger syrup
  • 25 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 100 ml hot strong black tea (Yorkshire Tea, brewed five minutes)
  • Lemon wheel

Method

Muddle the raspberries with ginger syrup in a heatproof glass. Add vodka and lemon juice. Top with hot strong black tea. Stir gently. Garnish with the lemon wheel.

From the Espresso Martini

Reyt Wakener.

Vodka, espresso, kahlúa. Caffeinated and serious.

  • 50 ml Steel City Vodka®
  • 30 ml fresh espresso
  • 20 ml kahlúa
  • 10 ml sugar syrup

Shake hard with ice until well-frothed. Double-strain into a chilled coupe. Three coffee beans on top.

From the Cosmopolitan

The Cosmo Un.

Cranberry, lime, triple sec. Pink and proud.

  • 45 ml Steel City Vodka®
  • 15 ml triple sec
  • 30 ml cranberry juice
  • 15 ml lime juice

Shake with ice. Double-strain into a chilled coupe. Flame an orange peel over the top.

From the Bloody Mary

The Red Un.

Tomato, vodka, spice. Sunday morning fortification.

  • 50 ml Steel City Vodka®
  • 120 ml tomato juice
  • 15 ml lemon juice
  • Dash Worcestershire
  • Dash Tabasco
  • Salt and pepper
  • Celery stick

Roll between two glasses with ice. Strain into a tall glass over fresh ice. Garnish with celery.

From the Moscow Mule

Reyt Kick.

Vodka, ginger beer, lime. Copper mug if you've got one.

  • 50 ml Steel City Vodka®
  • Ginger beer
  • Lime wedge

Build over ice in a copper mug or tall glass. Top with ginger beer. Squeeze lime.

From the Vodka Martini

The Cold Un.

Vodka, dry vermouth, twist. Bracing.

  • 60 ml Steel City Vodka®
  • 10 ml dry vermouth
  • Lemon twist

Stir long and hard over plenty of ice. Strain into a chilled glass. Twist the peel over the surface.

From the White Russian

The White Un.

Vodka, kahlúa, cream. Don't tell the bartender.

  • 50 ml Steel City Vodka®
  • 25 ml kahlúa
  • 25 ml double cream

Build vodka and kahlúa over ice in a rocks glass. Float cream on top.

From the Sex on the Beach

Day at Cleethorpes.

Peach schnapps, OJ, cranberry. The holiday cocktail.

  • 40 ml Steel City Vodka®
  • 20 ml peach schnapps
  • 60 ml orange juice
  • 60 ml cranberry juice

Shake with ice. Strain into a tall glass over fresh ice. Orange wheel.

Vodka, lemon, sugar, triple sec. Sour and bright.

  • 50 ml Steel City Vodka®
  • 20 ml triple sec
  • 20 ml lemon juice
  • 10 ml sugar syrup

Shake with ice. Double-strain into a sugar-rimmed coupe.

From the Vodka Sour

The Sour Un.

Vodka, lemon, sugar, egg white foam.

  • 50 ml Steel City Vodka®
  • 25 ml lemon juice
  • 15 ml sugar syrup
  • 1 egg white

Dry-shake without ice to build the foam. Shake again with ice. Double-strain into a coupe.

Vodka, kahlúa. Two ingredients, no apology.

  • 50 ml Steel City Vodka®
  • 25 ml kahlúa

Build over ice in a rocks glass. Stir.

From the Screwdriver

Vodka, fresh orange juice. Breakfast respectable.
